WIA Congratulates New NTIA Administrator David Redl

November 8, 2017 by igvsupport

The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) issued the following statement from Jonathan Adelstein, President and CEO of WIA, regarding the Senate’s approval of David Redl as Administrator of the National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA).

“We congratulate David Redl on this well-deserved confirmation. Over the years, he has proven himself to be an expert on multiple telecommunications issues including some important issues facing the wireless infrastructure industry. He understands that the stakes are high for the entire nation when it comes to improved mobile networks. Removing barriers and streamlining the responsible and efficient deployment of wireless infrastructure will allow the wireless industry to keep up with the ever-growing demand for increased coverage and capacity. WIA applauds the Administration for appointing Mr. Redl to head the National Telecommunications & Information Administration.
