WIA Congratulates Rep. McMorris Rodgers as Ranking Member of Energy and Commerce Committee, Thanks Rep. Walden

December 3, 2020 by

“WIA congratulates Rep. McMorris Rodgers on her elevation to Ranking Member of the Energy and Commerce Committee. She has been a strong advocate for ubiquitous broadband deployment and for American leadership in 5G.  Ranking Member McMorris Rodgers understands the importance of keeping the nation connected, which is clearer now than ever before. We look forward to continuing to work with Ranking Member McMorris Rodgers on common-sense policies to bring broadband to all communities and win the race to 5G,” said WIA Vice President, Government and Public Affairs Matt Mandel. “WIA also thanks Rep. Greg Walden for his leadership during his long tenue on the committee, including the major achievements in the RAY BAUM’s Act. We have enjoyed working with him on impactful policy for wireless infrastructure deployment and wish him the best in his future.”
