WIA Statement on FCC Chairman’s Plan for Future Internet Regulation

April 26, 2017 by igvsupport

The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) issued the following statement regarding FCC Chairman Ajit Pai’s remarks at The Future Of Internet Freedom in Washington, D.C., on April 26.

“WIA applauds the emphasis of Chairman Pai on creating a regulatory environment that encourages the deployment of wireless infrastructure. As he noted, the FCC can maximize investment in the broadband networks our country needs while protecting an open Internet. Chairman Pai’s action on this issue can also help spur bipartisan action in Congress on the issue of net neutrality, which would establish long-term regulatory certainty for the wireless industry.”
