WIA Statement on FCC’s Vote on Restoring Internet Freedom

December 14, 2017 by igvsupport

The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) issued the following statement in response to the Federal Communications Commission’s affirmative vote on Restoring Internet Freedom.

“WIA applauds the FCC for its ongoing efforts to return to a regulatory environment that encourages investments in the deployment of broadband networks in communities throughout the nation. Today’s actions remove burdensome regulations that were negatively affecting investment in the widespread deployment of mobile networks. We believe Congress should address open internet rules on a bipartisan basis in order to provide a more predictable business environment that will lead to greater investments and greater access to modern communications networks.”
