WIA Supports Blackburn’s New Bill

December 19, 2017 by igvsupport

The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) issued the following statement from Jonathan Adelstein, President and CEO of WIA, regarding legislation introduced by House Communications and Technology Subcommittee Chairman Marsha Blackburn.

WIA supports the effort to enact bipartisan legislation that promotes an open Internet and creates a predictable business environment, which will encourage private investment in building robust wireless networks. Congress remains the ideal venue to address this issue in a way that provides the certainty that will maximize capital investments in U.S. wireless infrastructure. We commend Chairman Blackburn for her leadership and look forward to working with her and other lawmakers going forward.
