WIA Supports FCC Chairman on Internet Freedom

November 21, 2017 by igvsupport

The Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) issued the following statement from WIA CEO Jonathan Adelstein in response to Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai’s announcement that he has circulated a Report and Order on Restoring Internet Freedom.

“WIA supports the effort like today’s announcement by Chairman Pai to create a regulatory environment that encourages investment in the deployment of the crucial wireless infrastructure needed to meet consumers growing demand for data over wireless broadband. Ultimately, this issue should spur bipartisan action in Congress to address net neutrality, and that would lead to the long-term regulatory certainty the wireless industry needs.”
